Product Description
The Sheffield Cycle Stand is an exceptionally popular model of cycle security. Each stand can accomodate up to two bikes (one each side) making it cost effective.
It is a practical and durable design recommended by the national cycling associations this Bike Stand is popular with both users and specifiers.
- Available as Concrete In or Bolt Down
- Bolt Down version requires 6 x 12mm bolts per Stand
- Bolts are available extra.
- Galvanised finish as standard
- The user can lock the frame and wheels of the bike to the stand by their own D-locks and chains.
Galvanised available from stock. Colour coated option will increase lead time.
Installation
- When positioned adjacent to one another stands should be approx 800mm apart and approx 450mm from any wall or other obstruction.
- For flanged ends: a suitable surface, preferably concrete should already exist for drilling into and bolting down.
- For ragged ends: a concrete foundation approx. 300mm cube is recommended for each leg, depending on ground conditions.

"Incorrect Item delivered. Despite previous custom for same item, photographs demanded prior to instruction to collect as 'proof'. I need the correct item, why then, would I lie? Collection agent then so aggressive that person in house was terrified and refused to open the door. In order to stop the individual hammering on the door, peering and shouting through the letterbox screaming that he wanted to get in, a threat had to be made to call police which caused him to run off. Complaint made and dealt with on telephone well. Delivery agent not part of same company and promise made to investigate. Previous experience with this company was straightforward, but this episode has been exceedingly poor from start to finish. Incorrect item remains in my possession and is not small. No offer of a refund as yet."

When we spoke, I said that I would inform you of any other feedback we received regarding the appalling way the initial attempt at collection was handled. I apologise for my rather late response. We received the following from our supplier.'Our carrier firm has apologised for the drivers actions and has taken the necessary disciplinary action. The driver stated that as the lady was inside the house hoovering he was trying to get her attention, unfortunately not in the correct manner. Hopefully the collection went with no issues. Once again I’m sorry that the customer was subject to such poor behaviour.' I would like to add our sincere apologies. "
